RadioPlanner update 2.1_191015. Propagation model ITU-R P.1546-6.

1. Added model ITU-R P.1546-6, in accordance with the new edition of Recommendation ITU-R P.1546-6 (08/2019) “Method for point-to-area predictions for terrestrial services in the frequency range 30 MHz to 4000 MHz". For TV and FM broadcasting only.




2. When saving the radio coverage as an image, it became possible to crop it.

RadioPlanner 2.1 update 190927. Longley-Rice propagation model.

Longley-Rice propagation model is also known as the Irregular Terrain Model (ITM) added in this update. RadioPlanner 2.1 uses version 1.2.2 of the Irregular Terrain Model in PTP-mode. This propagation model is considered the industry standard for calculating radio coverage in North America.


The implementation of the Longley-Rice model and FCC contours calculation in RadioPlanner 2.1 was carefully tested and verified using L-R TV stations coverage from the website www.rabbitears.info. See screenshots.
